SmartDO To Integrate Data Stream with ANSA/Meta, Extending and Enhancing the Digital Production Line Integration and Automation Platform of SmartDO.

Zhunan, Taiwan – September 24, 2024 – FEA-Opt Technology Co. Ltd. annouces that, based on a software collaboration agreement with Beta CAE, SmartDO will support data streaming integration with ANSA/Meta software, extending and enhancing the digital production line integration and automation platform.
Beta CAE is a renowned European CAE software company (acquired by Cadence Design Systems, Inc. in June 2024), with software widely used in the aerospace, automotive, and heavy industry sectors. Its software products, ANSA and Meta, are compatible with various solvers and feature unique and powerful parametric modeling capabilities.
Through this collaboration, SmartDO can now communicate and integrate with the aforementioned CAD/CAE software for automated optimization. ANSA users can also use this connection to perform push-button automatic design optimization with SmartDO.
ANSA pre-processing software supports most CAD file formats, including CATIA V4, CATIA V5, NX, Pro/ENGINEER, JT, and other neutral file formats. In terms of connecting to CAE solvers, ANSA supports NASTRAN, LS-DYNA, PAMCRASH, RADIOSS, Abaqus/Standard, Abaqus/Explicit, PERMAS, and ANSYS Mechanical. Beta CAE's Meta software module also supports result extraction and post-processing for these solvers, or further computation.
Dr. Shen-Yeh Chen, President of FEA-Opt Technology, stated that the collaboration with Beta CAE further expands SmartDO's diverse software integration and data streaming capabilities, enhancing SmartDO's advantages as a digital production line integration and automation platform. Combined with SmartDO's AI-powered, on-demand push-button automatic design optimization and its Python-based AI data flow interface, the platform offers clients a more scalable and intelligent automated design solution.
